During this session, participants will have an opportunity to learn more about how the brain functions and what leads to challenging behaviors in the classroom. When reflecting on student behaviors, it is critical to “look beyond the obvious.” Negative life experiences do not stay at home when a child leaves for school in the morning. With this knowledge, teachers can be better prepared to meet the needs of all students through research-based techniques and strategies.
***Participants will receive ONE Professional Development Hour for completion of this course.
