Participants can explore how alignment to grade-level standards, purposeful instructional methods, and formative assessments work together to support student learning. Examples and sample plans illustrate how thoughtful structure and flexibility enhance engagement and instructional flow. Key Focus Areas:
- Alignment of lesson objectives with standards and outcomes
- Use of formative assessment to guide instructional decisions
- Selection of effective strategies for whole-group, small-group, and mini-lesson formats
