During this session, the facilitator will provide participants with an opportunity to explore advanced word study concepts, such as grapheme, morpheme, orthography, and morphology. The facilitator will share historical influences that have sculpted English morphology and spelling patterns, and participants will have an opportunity to practice the explicit planning and teaching of the six basic syllable types in English spelling. 

*Participants will receive Two Professional Development Hours completion of this course.
