This course explores character education through an overview of key concepts such as virtues, practical wisdom, eudaimonia, human and societal flourishing, and citizenship. The course content will explore the development of virtue and ethical living, analyze how character formation can be integrated into higher education, and explore the impact of cultural context and the importance of inclusivity and interculturalism in enhancing character education initiatives. Additionally, the course will examine human flourishing from both biblical and secular perspectives, fostering a deeper understanding of moral development and ethical living.
