This professional development session will provide participants with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of vocabulary development and its impact on reading comprehension. The facilitator will examine the current research supporting vocabulary development, provide strategies and techniques to effectively plan and teach vocabulary, and identify assessments that can be used to plan for future instruction. 

***Participants will receive Two Professional Development Hours completion of this course.
