During this session, participants will have an opportunity to explore the importance and use of various assessment types in the K-5 classrooms. The facilitator will discuss the concepts of reliability, validity, criterion-referenced, and norm-referenced assessments while providing the participants with the opportunity to explore the use of assessments for instructional purposes, and how they can be used to differentiate reading instruction.
***Participants will receive THREE Professional Development Hours for completion of this course.
