RDG-02e: Multisensory Instruction (Part B)
RDG-02e: Multisensory Instruction (Part B)
$50

This session will provide K–5 educators with an opportunity to gain an understanding of multisensory instruction: what it is, why it works, and how to use it intentionally to support all learners, especially those who struggle with reading. The facilitator will explore the research behind multisensory and multimodal learning, with a focus on how visual, auditory, and tactile-kinesthetic modalities work together to boost memory, attention, and skill acquisition. The facilitator will use real classroom examples of multisensory routines across grade levels and identify how to plan lessons that purposefully engage multiple senses to reinforce phonics, word recognition, fluency, spelling, and comprehension. Whether you're new to multisensory methods or looking to refine your practice, this session will give you an opportunity to gain some practical strategies to take back to your classroom right away.
